Hi! I'm Natasha! Your intimate wedding and elopement photographer, dog petter and donut eater. While photography is my first love, connecting with people is my love language. You'll find me lovin' on the big moments, the quiet moments, the silly moments – but especially the in between moments. The moments that are unadulterated and unfiltered. The ones where you are the real you. Here on the blog you'll find all of my favorite tips, tricks and resources for planning a wedding that's all about those moments.

Looking for the perfect Airbnb for your Mt. Baker elopement? Look no further!

When I planned my own Mt. Baker elopement, finding an Airbnb that was the perfect size for us and our guests, close to hiking and that was also cute for photos seemed to take more time than anything else in our planning process! So I've put together a list just for you of my favorite cabins, houses, and beautiful properties to host your elopement whether it's just the two of you or a few added guests. Below you'll find some of the coziest, best designed, and highly rated Airbnb's in the area.

THE BEST AIRBNB'S FOR YOUR MT. BAKER ELOPEMENT

Mt. Baker Hygge Hus

Deming, WA

This highly sought after black modern PNW cabin books out fast so make sure you snag it early if you want to host your Mt. Baker elopement here! But if you can get your hands on this unbelievable retreat you won't regret it. Stunning panoramic views of the national forest, a cedar hot tub, a gorgeous deck, modern design, this would be especially cozy for a fall or winter elopement, but truly beautiful any time of year. Plus it's only a quick 2 minute drive to Chair 9 for dinner, 5 min drive from Wake n' Bakery (DELISH breakfast burritos and coffee), 30 minutes from the Heliotrope Ridge trailhead, 20 minutes to the Mt. Baker Ski Area, you'll be right in the midst of it all.

The Hideout - Mt. Baker Cabin

Deming, WA

One of the most special properties on this list, because this is where I hosted my own Mt. Baker elopement! Just under 30 minutes from Artist Point (literally the most beautiful place in Washington to say your vows in my opinion, but I'm a little biased lol), you'll have access to a sauna, a hot tub, campfire, your own private guest house separate from the main house, plenty of parking, and the cutest spiral staircase! It's just the right size for your intimate gathering and the hosts are super accommodating! We had 14 people in total, with 5 people staying with us at the cabin (3 bedrooms, and a friend on the couch) We messaged them to ask if we could have a few more guests than the listing allowed for our dinner and they had no problem as long as we paid a small fee, totally worth it!

North Cascades Haven at the River

Marblemount, WA

Hear me out. Glacier. Fed. Cascade. River. If I could live in this one I would. It has the perfect combination of homey cozy feel with midcentury modern and maybe even a little bit of Scandi-Japanese (Japandi) design? The combination of all of my loves into one, and you'll have a stunning balcony over looking the Cascade River and access to some of the highest rated alpine hikes in the world. You can make your coffee by the river side, say your I do's in the American Alps, then come back down for s'more and a campfire to cap your night. I can't imagine anything more perfect.

Snowline Cabin

Glacier, WA

I had to include the Snowline Cabin on this list because it's the most perfect little forest chalet imaginable. Located just an hour outside of Bellingham in Glacier, WA it's nestled right within the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. With 3 bedrooms, you'll have plenty of room for guests, and c'mon, is it not just the cutest little a-frame?! In the summer you'll have access to tons of hiking, biking, climbing, fishing, swimming, backpacking adventures, and in the winter you're just minutes from the Mount Baker Ski Area and plenty of snowshoeing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, sledding, you name it!

Glacier's Lagom Cabin

Deming, WA

Swedish for "not too little, not too much"...the word lagom is the perfect description for this cabin. Scandinavian and PNW design melded together for a bright a airy feel no matter what time of year you stay, you'll be minutes from the Mt. Baker Ski Area and Heliotrope Ridge Trailhead for some of the best hiking, skiing, snowboarding, biking, the mountain has to offer! And like other properties on this list, it's massive windows (like literally as many as they could pack in there) are guaranteed to give you the most stunning photos imaginable. Plus, it's dog friendly!

Casa de Sauna Forest Cabin

Deming, WA

It's right in the name, but with Casa de Sauna you'll have your very own cedar sauna to relax in the night before your big day, and the coziest cabin to come back to after your day out in the wilderness celebrating your love! Plenty of big windows (I'm sure you've caught on by now, they're amazing for photos!), adorable interior design, and plenty of space for some good forest relaxation.

Black Tail Den

Maple Falls, WA

Built in 1966 this beautiful property was recently renovated to accent the vintage charm with all of the modern conveniences. With lake access just a few minutes walk away, a lovely fire pit to host those late night intimate conversations with friends and family, you can lounge in the claw foot tub or enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck, and fall in love under the twinkling string lights beneath the cedars.

The Greybird Retreat

Deming, WA

With beautiful modern design, The Greybird Retreat is at the end of a cul de sac tucked in the Mt Baker Rim community so you'll have complete privacy for your intimate elopement. Annnnnnd, it even has an outdoor shower (one of my favorite amenities at airbnbs) and hot tub! Guests who've stayed here rate it as one of the top tier airbnbs they've ever stayed at so you can't go wrong.
