Our initial discovery call is all about getting to know what's important to you on your wedding day (and what isn't) so we can plan a day that's unique to you with everything you love, and none of the stuff you don't. We'll chat everything from your fave late night snack spots, to your proposal story, your dogs likes and dislikes, you name it! By the time we take your photos, it'll feel like having an old friend there instead of just a stranger.

UNLIMITED PLANNING MEETINGS
No matter where you are in the process, we'll guide you along the wedding day planning pipeline so you know exactly what you need to do when. You'll have the option to schedule meetings anytime throughout your planning journey, but we'll send you reminders to keep you on track so everything feels easy peasy. For that couple that's ready to pack in every experience they can from sun up to sun down. This package is perfect if you want sunrise and sunset coverage so you get the best of both worlds! This time can be split however you'd like throughout the day, so we don't miss a thing.
The sweet spot for all of the essentials. We'll cover your getting ready photos, head to your ceremony location, go for a hike, eat-drink-and-be-merry, visit the most beautiful locations for photos, have a romantic dinner.

We'll slow it all down and spend an afternoon taking the back roads together, telling the story of your favorite places off the beaten path. We'll visit 2-3 locations that mean the world to you, crafting the perfect documentary of your life as it is right now, whether thats a big hike, or a slow afternoon in your first home and a drive in your dusty old truck.
This is for the couple that wants to remember their love as it is in this fleeting moment. Perfect for engagements, anniversaries, or just celebrating this time in your life! Couples sessions are sweet, simple, and all about capturing nothing but the two of you.

Once you fill out the inquiry form we'll respond within 24-48 hours with a link to schedule your get-to-know-me call! We'll chat all things wedding day, answer any questions you have, maybe swap some recipes and let our dogs meet on Zoom.

LOCK IT IN
Whether you're having an intimate elopement, a full-on wedding weekend, or something totally custom, we'll figure out exactly how to make it work for you and lock it all down! You'll be able to choose your add on's, sign your contract online and make your deposit via my online invoice (usually 30-50% deposit).

PLANNING
Then we get to planning...and you can consider us your wedding tour guides. We handle planning your day-of timeline, finding the most beautiful locations, and send you the all best wedding planning resources. You can expect to receive a few questionnaires along the way so we know exactly how to personalize every part of the process just for you!

WEDDING DAY + DELIVERY
Woohoo! You're married! Within two weeks after the big day we'll send you some sneak peeks of what your photos are looking like, cause we know it's so hard to wait! No later than 90 days after your wedding you'll receive your photos via an online private gallery where you can download, print and share with all of your loved ones!
FAQ
what if we're having a super simple elopement with just the two of us? can we JUST book a couples session/back roads session instead?
Unfortunately we don't book sessions in place of elopement packages, even if it's just going to be the two of you! As simple as elopements are, even the smallest of celebrations requires a certain level of planning that you might not expect. Things like extensive location research, permits, figuring out a backup plan in case weather doesn't cooperate, coordinating your officiant and witnesses, figuring out the perfect day of timeline (even if you think it's just going to take an hour or two!), having the flexibility to move our plans around day-of if things don't go according to plan, all play a part in planning your day. There are many hours on the backend for us to make sure everything is perfect, because often there is no option to reschedule like there is with a couples session (maybe you're traveling from out of state, or have family visiting only for that day, you only have off from work for a certain amount of time, etc.).
How do payment schedules work?
Do you deliver the RAW files?
The simple answer to this is no. Our editing style is what makes up the bulk of what you see, and right out of camera most photos looks nothing like what you would expect. But when we deliver galleries we go through every single photo to give you the absolute best of the best and not leave out any important moments or expressions.
Standard is a 50% deposit at contract signing, and the other 50% one month before your wedding date. You can split these payments into custom amounts also, we're totally up for figuring out something that works with your schedule!
How many photos do you deliver?
How long until we get our photos?
This can vary from couple to couple based on their specific ideas, traditions, and wedding day. Large families, long ceremonies, any additional formalities all tack on more photos so this can vary greatly! We don't believe in cut-off numbers and culling down to fit a certain number. So as long as you're not blinking, sneezing, or coughing, you'll have all of your photos!
During busy season we can be working on editing many weddings at one time so we don't deliver until we feel that each one is perfect! This means that for weddings we deliver no later than 90 days after your big day, and for engagements one month after we shoot.
What happens if the weather is crazy?
Can we bring our dog to our couples
session or elopement/wedding?
No problemo! Wild weather makes for some dramatic and stunning wedding photos! If you're down to tromp around in the rain and snow together we're totally there for it. We have a 4x4 truck that can get through almost any weather and all terrain, but if you feel like you don't want to brave the forces of nature we can reschedule your session to a better day. We create a backup plan for all elopements too so that no matter what nature throws at you, we'll be prepared.
You bet'chur ass we wanna meet your dog, so please free to bring your pet (any pet, we love all creatures) so we can smother them with butt scratches and treats! If you’re thinking about having your pet at your wedding we have plenty of planning resources for how to make it the best and safest experience possible for both you and your critter.
Can you photoshop me?
Part of what makes magical photos is building a relationship of trust and comfort in the time that we spend together, so we don't alter photos in any way that changes the shape of someone's body. We work together to communicate about any insecurities you might have, while highlighting the parts of yourself that make you feel confident and comfortable in your own skin. Any retouching that we do removes only things that aren't a permanent part of you like blemishes, bruises, a stray hair or two. Our philosophy is if it'll be gone in two weeks, we remove it.
