THE PLANNING

Nicole and Dylan are dog loving, nature loving people that right from the jump knew exactly how they wanted their Full Moon Resort wedding to feel. When we started their planning process, their priorities were centered around spending time with their loved ones. Family was super important to them, so through out our planning process we made sure that their day was focused on facilitating real interactions with their loved ones. For them, that meant Nicole got ready with all of her best friends by her side, Dylan shared an early afternoon beer with his dudes, Nicole planned a first look with her dad AND their dog Archie, saving her Dylan's first look at her for down the aisle. We even scheduled in some time for Nicole and her girls to put on a little fashion show to get a whole bunch of photos for Instagram! It was all about the realness of the day for them.

THE VISION

Nicole came to me with a super clear vision in mind. Since summer in the Catskills is already so beautiful, they wanted to embrace that natural beauty with a simple palette. Lots of earth tones, sage, white and cream. It was all about that soft elegance for her. A September wedding here always has the possibility of having that wonderful crisp fall air or hanging on to warm summer warmth, so in my opinion it's one of the best times of the year to get married!

The reception pavillion at Full Moon is one of those spaces that can be transformed into so beautifully into whatever your vision may be, and for Nicole and Dylan it was cozy, romantic, and embraced the warm summer glow that anyone planning a summer wedding dreams about.

RESORT WEDDING

A Summer Full Moon Resort wedding is something dreams are made of. A Catskill Mountain backdrop, a babbling creek, multiple ceremony locations, an architectural masterpiece of a reception space. It truly has it all. Full Moon Resort is always one of our favorite venues to shoot at because it has the perfect layout for a super buttery smooth timeline on your wedding day (everyone can stay right on the property in their adorable little cabins or in their motel rooms), and the staff is some of our favorites of any venue we've ever worked at! Over the years we've shot MANY a Full Moon Resort wedding, but Nicole and Dylan's is at the top of the list for one of our favorites. They had their ceremony at the lower grove, so their backdrop was the creek and lush moss, but it's always extra romantic being able to walk down the long path to reach your partner at the other end. Of all of the ceremony locations they have at Full Moon, this one is our favorite (weather permitting of course).
