This elegant and colorful wedding at Audrey's Farmhouse + The Greenhouses in Wallkill, NY has it all. Handmade favors. Stunning springtime florals. Spectacular planning by Nectar de Fête. This sweet couple had it all. Maytal and Alan and I met for the first time in the beautiful gardens of The Cloisters last summer. And right from the beginning I could tell they were two of the kindest and most thoughtful people. And most importantly for me, I got to meet their adorable Aussie pup named Milo. But I digress.
Maytal and Alan started this superb day off with ultimate chill vibes in a refined Hudson Valley farmhouse. Filled with Catskill history, neat taxidermy (I'm a big taxidermy gal), and modern charm. When Brian and I arrived, Maytal was cool as a cucumber just soaking it all in with her friends and family. Alan was sipping whiskey with his dudes, I knew it was going to be a good day. A group of people so set on having a good time, that you know no matter what, things are gonna be good.
With the warm spring sunshine gracing us all afternoon, a rare treat this time of the year, they said their I do's and broke a glass beneath a graceful chuppah. Hand in hand making their way to an exquisitely stylish reception. If you know me, you know that I'm obsessed with warm yellows and oranges for pretty much everything. So when we stepped into the greenhouse and saw the absolutely glorious floral arrangements by Nectar de Fête, I was head over heels. Now any Audrey's Farmhouse wedding is spectacular, but this one might take the cake for me. Warm golden sunshine streaming in. Glowing candles. Even handmade ceramic hamsa's that Maytal made herself! With By the end of the night, they had cried, danced, and partied with those they love.
I can't thank Maytal and Alan enough. They were truly, some of the most beautiful souls we've had the pleasure of working with. Thank you for your kindness and thoughtfulness. And for the opportunity to capture such a beautiful and wonderful day.
