SEATTLE ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER
Man, a monochromatic Almquist Winery wedding. Isn't that what dreams are made of? A January downtown Seattle wedding is always a gamble with the weather. But Sarah and Brian embraced the rain, embraced the gloom, and together we created magic. Coming from the East Coast, where rainy wedding days are nightmare fuel, I'm still always so impressed by how couples just embrace the rain in the PNW. I'm a big fan of rain for photos because it always makes for such soft moody light, interesting reflections and textures. And I'm so grateful for my PNW couples that are happy to take it all in stride.
Sarah and Brian were two people after my own heart. Focused on all of the simple pleasures for a wedding day, but with all of the big design love. A designer herself, Sarah had a very clear vision right from the start what she wanted for her Almquist Winery wedding. And wowowow did a black and white theme really couldn't have been more spectacular. Modern and minimal could described their vision. And you know it's gonna be extraaaaa good when I get sent a full design spread with swatches and inspiration photos for every part of the day. My organizational brain couldn't have been more pleased.
But we've all heard about the overly organized bridezillas, right? Well, Sarah and Brian couldn't have been further from that if they tried. The most chill people. The most easy going.
The most friendly and fun. And did I mention that they only had 14 guests? SUPERB. Plus, getting to work with Ohana Events in Seattle is always a treat. We had the ultimate dream team to pull off the most stunning Almquist Winery wedding.
